The complex of hellenistic votives in roman Hermonassa

In 2024, at the Hermonassa site, within a 2.5 square meter area of the Roman horizon, objects from a Hellenistic period home sanctuary (terracotta, a cup-shaped altar, and a black-glazed kantharos) were discovered. These objects were moved during the construction of the cisterns of the 2nd-century AD winery. The article analyzes these finds and suggests reasons for their placement in later layers.
