The paper describes amphora stamps from an interesting “closed” complex documented in the beginning of the 1980s on the “Kostadin cheshma” site to the west of Bourgas bay. The pit contained fragments of several hundred amphorae, black glazed vessels, and domestic ceramics. It was possible to successfully narrow down the period during which it was filled out to the 370s – 360s BC.

There are investigated 7 published at the last time inscriptions – 4 private letters and 3 curse inscriptions. Two letters have originated from the Taman peninsula (№ 1, 2), one by one from Myrmekion (№ 3), Pantikapaeum (№ 4); all 3 curse inscriptions are from Pantikapaeum (№ 5–7). The author gives more precise dates of the inscriptions: he supports publisher’s dates only in № 1 and № 7, the rest inscriptions he regards as more recent.

At the turn of the first and second half of the IV century BC, qualitative changes in the development of the polis, associated with the arrival of new colonists, are taking place in Chersonesos. This circumstance also determines the transformations that have occurred in numismatics in this period, which the author of the article considers on the example of lower denominations – dihalks coin types.

In paper publishes the fragment of black-figured cup founded in excavations on Panticapaeum, which represents the comos of the nymph and silenos. The Inscription of Vase-Painter following this scene say “chick”.

Using Greek ceramics and arrowheads from the Scythian kurgans of the Northern Black Sea region the article proposes chronology of glass monochrome beads – biconical, pyramidal and flat rhomboid, identified in types 88–96, 112–115 and 171 (Fig.1) in the typology of E.M. Alekseyeva (1978).

The article describes a method for calculating the volume of amphorae using the three-dimensional editor Blender and proposes a new fairly accurate method for calculating the volume of antique amphorae on the example of transport amphorae of the Kos island IV–I century BC. The method described in the article is based on the 3-D model of amphorae as complex bodies of revolution.

The article analyzes the materials of seventeen ceramic complexes originating from the excavations of the Prikubanskiy burial ground. It is situated in the Krasnoarmeyskiy district of the Krasnodar Region. In addition to the Maeotian products, the burials contained antique imports: ceramic containers and black-glazed vessels. As a result of the excavations almost 350 amphorae of different production centers were found. More than 35 of them are referred to the Sinopean production.

События последних веков до н. э., происходившие в степной зоне Восточной Европы к востоку от Дона, в Азиатской Сарматии, являются наименее изученными в истории кочевых племен. Мы имеем очень мало четких хронологических привязок изменений археологических культур и почти ничего не знаем о миграциях и взаимовлиянии племен.

В последние годы проблема ранней истории Херсонеса вновь активно обсуждается, особенно в связи с появлением новых, достаточно многочисленных находок конца VI — V вв. до н. э. из раскопок городища. В связи с этим мы посчитали целесообразным вновь обратиться к материалам херсонесского некрополя, тем более что первая проверка первоисточников в фондах Херсонесского заповедника, проведенная в 1988 г., позволила выявить серию предметов, прежде всего амфор, датирующихся значительно более ранним временем, чем принято было считать.

Нельзя сказать, что синопские амфорные и черепичные клейма, наиболее многочисленная и едва ли не самая интересная категория памятников керамической эпиграфики Причерноморья, обойдены вниманием исследователей. Ежегодно выходит в свет несколько работ, в которых в том или ином контексте упоминаются керамические клейма Синопы. Правда, чаще всего эти издания носят чисто публикационный характер.
